All told, the Heart of the Swarm is a nice expansion pack for StarCraft II. You get a fun little single player campaign comprised of about 20 missions and additional updates to the multiplayer area. Some will be disappointed by the length of the single player mission, but I had a fun time going through them. Heart of the Swarm seems like a nice Officially, Heart of the Swarm is an expansion pack that requires Wings of Liberty to play, however it feels close to a full-blown sequel, with a new single-player campaign and some tangible StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm presents a radical change in relation to the previous game. Kerrigan's story ends satisfactorily, although it seems a little clichéd at times, and the new gameplay mechanics are fun and they add a needed breath of fresh air to the single player campaign.
